Evidence of research into tittle sequence
Here are a few examples of award winning tittle sequence. Most follow the conventions of tittle sequences.
In addition below are examples of fonts to use in the title sequence.
Editing Process - Part 1
Today we have started editing, we imported all the clips that we filmed from yesterday and this morning into Final Cut Pro. We also re-named all the clips so it would be much easier for us when looking for a specific shot.
Filming - Shoot 3: Michelle's House
This morning Hannah came over to my house to finish filming for the opening. I took photos of Hannah using a polaroid camera. In the photos Hannah plays two different roles, one as the normal twin and the other as the mentally ill twin.
We only filmed close-ups os both the photos on the wall and the polaroids.
(more photos coming soon)
Changes in filming
This group has decided to make a change in what we will be our final product. From our initial idea and what we produced was dissatisfying. What went wrong was the facilites that we needed to use for example we wanted to use Hannah's pool but for unseen circumstances we were not able to use it. As a result we decided to see what pools were available to us. And the one we could use at short notice was the pool at Hannah's secondary school. Therefore we filmed there once we finished filming and looked back on what we done, we left it. It didn't work out. The problems were as follows; you could tell it was a public swimming pool and didn't fit our theme location, the water wasn't deep enough, whiles filming the shots i was taking pictures and the flashes disrupted the shots. Therefor this wasn't ging to work out. Consequently me and hannah decided we should start from scratch and come up with a different ending. We also thought it was a good idea to swop our characters because we thought we didn't suit the roles we was doing. However Michelle then wanted to do a discreet opening only staring hannah.

Planning - Location (Updated)
As we have changed the storyline of our opening, we have also included a new filming location. We chose to film some of our opening at St Anne's Church which is next to Hannah's house as I have stated before.
(NOT USING)
Change of Plans
After going through the clips as a group we decided to re-record everything, as all the shots before were not good enough and the storyline was quite off. So we decided to change the story line a bit.
There has also been a change of roles as Hannah insisted to. And there will only be one character throughout the opening, which will be Hannah. Sibora will be helping me out this the lighting and editing.
The opening will still be set in my room, and Hannah's house, however this time we will be filming in the church yard too, which is next to Hannah's house.
We have decided to change the story line a little, here is a brief synopsis;
Hannah is a twin, however she was separated from her twin sister at a young age as her family found out Hannah had a mental disorder and would be better for her and the family to abandon her. Hannah is now much older, and comes back to seek revenge.
The opening will start with over the shoulder shots, as Hannah is walking through the church yard towards her 'house'

Pre-editing - Going through clips
In todays session we was originally planning to edit however we don't have enough shots, so as a group we had a look through all the shots and decided what ones we will be using. We have also decided to change some parts of the opening such as the pool scene as it does not link to the set location as you could tell it was a public pool. So we will be returning to Hannah's house tomorrow night to re-do some shots, and film the opening sequence in my room.

Filming - Shoot 2: Swimming Pool
So today, we made our way to George Green's Secondary School, as we booked to use the pool at 2pm. We was unable to use Hannah's pool due to some problems, lucky Hannah was able to get the pool for us or else i have no idea where we would've got one.

Below are some videos taken just before we left and on the way to Hannah's house.

Our film exlores the psychological and physical limits of a young vulnerable girl. The story revolves mainly around Sibora, who is dumped my her boyfriend for another girl. However instead of being obsessed with her boyfriend, she is obsessed with his new girlfriend, Hannah for stealing her boyfriend. She becomes obsessed to a point she starts stalking Hannah, taking photos of her and following her every move. Sibora's room is filled with photos of Hannah, everything in her room is linked to Hannah in someway. She has been plotting to get rid of both Hannah and her ex-boyfriend. but she has never found the right time.
Our opening will start off wth some sort of chase. Sibora finds out that Hannah is home alone, via Hannah's Facebook status update. Sibora takes this opportunity to go and kill Hannah. Their houses are are within walking distance away. Sibora finds her way inside Hannah's House and waits for her chance to kill Hannah. Whilst roaming around the empty house, Sibora accidentlys knocks something over, as a result Hannah realises she is not alone. Hannah grabs a golf club for self protection, She notices shadows hovering around the hall way, Sibora come chasing down the hall way with a knife. Hannah runs the other way to the other exit. And shuts the door behind her, with Sibora on the other side trying to open the door, Hannah uses the gold club to block the poor to prevent it from opening. Hannah opens the front door but instead she opens the other door at the same time which leads to the basement and she runs down there. Hannah then jumps straight into the pool and hides there. Sibora finally opened the door and thinking Hannah went out of the main exit she too went that way.
