Research- Genre & Sub-genre

Genre is the term that is used to for a category, in this instants, Film. A sub-genre is sub-categories within the film genre.   These are the following examples of Sub-genres; Biopics, Chick-Flicks, Detective and Mystery, Disaster, Fantasy, Film Noir, Guy Films, Melodramas,  Road Films, Romance, Sports, Super natural,Thriller.


Examples of thriller sub-genre I would use to inspire me would be religious thriller, serial thrillers, action and adventure. 



CopyCat is a Psychological thriller where a agoraphobic psychologist and a female detective are working foregather to take down a serial killer who copies serial killers fro the past.
