Genre and Subgenre

A subgenre is a sub category of a specific genre of a film. Film genres were created to classify what the film is into a descriptive category eg comedy, sci-fi, action, romance etc. A sub category breaks down that category into more defined subjects eg action drama, romantic comedy etc.

We decided this film looks like it has a genre & subgenre of phycological horror as it is a black colour which connotes death and danger and the characters facial expression looks like she is scared of something, also it has spooky font as it is shaddowed and in bold capital letters. As of this we decided the target audience with be either for men and women over 15 years of age.
