EVALUATION: Question 1

Q1. In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms of then conventions of real media products?

Our media product uses forms and conventions of real media products. For instances conventions of film opening are to show actions that place and to hook the audience into watching, grabbing their interest. It also to help the audience in identifying what type of genre it is. In addition we are shown the protagonist and antagonist.

Most film openings are around 2 minutes long.
However there are some that last up to 5 minutes but these are usually huge blockbusters. They introduce Key characters and those with less importance for example the sidekicks. And it is introducing a pre-plot or the start of a narrative. Following is the key credits such as the production company, directors, and editors.   Then an event will unfold companied with non diegetic sound.

There are also the conventions of title sequence. This is a method that all films include at the beginning; its purpose is to represent key credit productions and casting members.   The order of credits goes as follows:     * Name of production company
*Director
*Producer
*Executive producer
*Top billing actors
*The movie Title

We have followed these conventions as our film opening is around 2mintus long. And our key characters are shown: Sibora and Hannah. We slowly follow to the narrative. Whilst showing our credits. This form was better suited to our film opening and made it more realistic.
