Representation is when media portrays a certain social groups in society. A stereotype are a good way to show how people see a certain group.
This image shows how society see teenagers and give then a stereotype of loud and bad behaved.
In our thriller opening we have used both the characters as females. We presented the psycho negatively as we have made her into a mentally unstable character who is seeking revenge. In contrast the other character who is playing the role of an innocent girl is represented in a positive way wearing pink pajamas creating innocence. In a way this could represent women in real media as it is a female who is being targeted on and women are mainly the ones to be targeted as they are seen as more weak. However it is also a female who is targeting as well.
